Ok so by now you guys must know that Durban is my number one travel destination. But what can I say im a sucker for the beach & sunny weather. Now this day takes me to Ushaka Marine World, which was once a run down area with little hope. If you had to look at the place now you would say I was lying. The Point Waterfront has now become an are with one of the most expensive apartments that overlook the durban harbour. This has become a place where a person visiting Durban must definately not leave without seeing. One could describe this wonderful palce as little Venice, with a river flowing inbetween apartments & one can even take a Venice style boat ride around & experiance the tranquility.

After a little stroll along the sand, you notice that is a restaurant on the peir, yes you did hear me correct, a restaurant on the peir. Moyos is the name, cultural cuisene & lovely sundowners while looking out into the sea, you almost feel like your actually in a boat or litterally floating on the ocean. Now for the kiddies there is also fun at the actaul Ushaka Marine

world where children can view a wide variety of sea creatures. Once they are done with that there is a huge variety of water slides for them to get wet & go wild.

Now this part of Durban is where you experiance the Zulu culture, take a ride on a riksha (A carriage looking wagon on two wheels being drawn by a zulu man wearing a warriors hat), enjoy some zulu dances as they welcome you to their kingdom.

Quite frankly there is just so much i can say, but there is only one way to experience this magnificent zulu kingdom, yes you just need to see it & feel it for yourself.
