From Shoestrings to Switzerland

After an overnight plane ride, we arrived in Zurich on time, collected our bags and there was Stefan to greet us. One thing about being in Zurich is the use of public transportation to go everywhere! We rode in a car one time and that was from Kastenienbaum to catch the bus back to Lucerne!

The train leaves the airport and in two stops we are at Wipkingen and have two blocks to walk to get to Stefan and Marianne's. The most amazing thing we experienced in the airport was the luggage trolley's could go up and down the escalators without losing control!

Stefan and Marianne still live in their same lovely place; on the top floor so we were in much better shape by the time we left going up and down those stairs! (80 up and 80 down).
