We're enjoying a week on the Kromme River right near St Francis Bay (famous surfing bay) at our friends' family summer home complex (sleeps about 16!). Although it's hot season, we arrived in rain and wind. Sunnier and warmer today.Wildlife spotted so far (mostly on roadways): baboons, a tortoise, monkeys, zebras; impala; an entire flock of sheep which flowed around our car.We're enjoying the local lamb, seafood, etc.!

On our many journeys, we like to explore the local sights, foods and drinks. We shop in markets and do some of our own cooking, if possible. I like to write about my travels while the experiences are fresh in my mind.... full info
