The rock pools I was searching in for sea life.

This morning we had a sleep in. We slept so well last night due to the sea breeze. The weather was disappointing this morning – grey, overcast and not very warm.

In the afternoon, at low tide, Paul and I went for a walk along the beach. I was hoping to see some interesting sea life in the rock pools – but no such luck. Paul tried to catch a fish and was lucky enough to catch a garfish, which bit him when he was getting the hook out of its mouth.

Finally the sun broke through the clouds and we enjoyed a nice blue sky. I got quite a bit more reading done this afternoon.
