Lucas & I visited Morocco for 5 days (returned this past Sunday). My friend and colleague Karen lives there with her husband Adil, and 2 children - Amira and Salah. We had a great time visiting Rabat & Casablanca, and Lucas loved playing with his new friends.

This was our guide to the restaurant in the old medina. Basically, he walked us through some narrow streets, and knocked on a non-descript door taht used to be a house, and they turned in a restaurant. Would've been tough to find it otherwise.

The 3 kids dining with us at Dinarjat, a wonderful traditional Moroccan style restaurant in the Old Medina (City) of Rabat. We were led to the restaurant by a guide, and it was a fabulous meal!

Adil pondering the "enriched salad" before him which consisted of some yummie eggplant, tomato and other veggie dishes. The "enriched" part was the brains and liver before him. Delicieux!

Karla & Karen - our only team photo to date. I had to travel all the way to Morocco (on my dime) to have a team meeting with her - this recession is tough! Enjoyed every minute of it!

This Mosque was built between 1986 - 1993 (or thereabouts), and it's ginormous! Hard to really capture the size with a camera, but here's a few attempts. Here's a link to the wikipedia def that provides more info. http://www.sacred-destinations.com/morocco/casablanca-hassan-ii-mosque.htm

Love seeing the sights you are seeing! Makes me want to include that country in my travels, as well. Obviously, the children are quite enjoying themselves!
