Hello again everyone!!
Before I begin, a few people have asked about sending materials here to the Lenana Slum Orphans and to the BJC (the school we have been to a couple of times). Kilonzi gave me this mailing address, and explained that if things are sent for the Orphans as well as to the school, if you make a note of what is to go where, he will deliver the items to the school. I would say the Lenana Slum Orphans and the school are both equally in need of supplies. The items they need the most are paper, pencils, pens, pencil sharpeners…(basically all types of school supplies). The Lenana Slum Orphans are also in pretty desperate need of clothing, and Kilonzi has said that he will divide up any clothing amongst the children who need it most.

So here is the address if anyone wants to send things:

He said the kids really need information about good nutrition, so we bought a big piece of poster paper and made a poster. It just had some pretty general information, and the food groups (which we borrowed from Canada’s Food Guide). We also added a little blurb about “What if Eating Well Costs Too Much…” so that it wouldn’t be unattainable for the kids to eat well. Kilonzi seemed pretty happy with the end result.
Monday is the day we use to plan the rest of the week. It is also the day that anyone from the community can stop in at the office and talk to Kilonzi and Brittney and
