Today is Monday, March 12. We are still working but everything is slow and difficult in Kenya. Most people seem to do fine but we have so much to learn. It is happening but much slower than we would like. Today is a day for us to get our act together. We have had visitors from New Zeland here for the past few days but they left today. They are working in a water project up near Lake Victoria.
Our local team is helping all they can. We just have to learn to be African. We are getting there. Tomorrow we return to the Kawangware Slum with Elijah. We have worked there already and we want to continuw the ministry there. I will send additional names of converts to Cathy. On Thursday, we will return to Kibera.
Our family will arrive on Friday. Mark Hollar and Laura will visit then also. We will spend as much time in Kibera as we can but have some family time as well. We plan to visit a game park near Mt. Killimanjaro. We think it will be nice. It will be great for us to go on a safari with our children and grandchildren.
Also, Dr. Hetterachchi is going to visit with two of his children.
We will stay busy.
Our internet time has been very limited but we found an internet cafe today that has better access so we will try to prepare a real update later this week. We still have to drive in toward town to get on line. We will keep you posted on the progress.
More later
