Tomorrow we leave for Accra until Monday. It will be our first time traveling alone since we arrived. In the past someone has always travelled with us. However, we will not be totally on our own. Our host is based in Accra and she is lending us her driver. Nonetheless, this is sort of a trial run for our travel week. When we return, we will have an exhibition on Thursday (Aug 2th), to show (and hopefully sell) the soaps, powdered soap, body powder, and jewelry we have produced with the women of Attabu. What is left will be sold in the market to raise funds for the newly created Attabu Women Association (AWA). It is hoped the we will continue to raise funds for AWA when we return to the US.
