Koforidua, Winneba, Cape Coast, Takoradi

I am moving to Ghana in January to help set up a non-profit that will look to assist other non-profits, government institutions and associations currently on the ground through intern and volunteer placements and modest economic support. I have been investigating the following cities as potential bases for the organization: Koforidua, Winneba, Cape Coast, and Takoradi. If anyone has information on any of these places (level of need, non-profits or other programs currently based there, living experience and amenities) or contacts you would feel comfortable sharing I would be greatly appreciative. I would really like to set up somewhere where we can make a valuable contribution to development efforts and provide quality cultural and service learning experiences to interns and students.
