Tajmahal a imagination of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. He establish a sign of their love and this time its famous all over world as a great historical monuments. Its shows that how much advanced technology found in India that time. So i feel always proud to be an Indian.Tajmahal established at the bank Yamuna River. The Inspiration for establishment of Tajmahal from his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It was a promise from his wife (Mumtaz Mahal) for a beautiful gift at the time birth of 14th child and see is died at this time. The Tajmahal construction starts in 1932 and completed in 1968. The garden and other surrounding building completed after five years. It too long time for creation of this monument. It is Combination of different type of architecture like the interior part of this used the earlier Mughal architecture, Persian architecture. The Specific inspiration came from successful Timurid and Mughal buildings including.
Emperor Shah Jahan himself described the Taj in these words:

Should guilty seek asylum here,
Like one pardoned, he becomes free from sin.
Should a sinner make his way to this mansion,
All his past sins are to be washed away.
The sight of this mansion creates sorrowing sighs;
And the sun and the moon shed tears from their eyes.
In this world this edifice has been made;
To display thereby the creator's glory. Reply to this

In my opinion the Taj Mahal is purely a symbol of Love of a man for his consort and of a man for the eternity. A man who was so much bereaved on the loss of his wife that he kept himself away from the routine course of his life and had no respite. He fulfilled the promise given to his wife at the time of her demise by attributing the Taj to her. Reply to this
