Hello Ms Rain :)
Not sure which is my favourite but one I love is the view from the top of the TV tower in Berlin when the sun is going down. When I go to Berlin at the weekend I usually go to the bar at the top of the tower and watch the sun go down. I then hang out there until it closes at midnight before I go to some all night Heavy Metal Club.

One I quite liked was Hong Kong, from the Mt Davis Hostel. You get the view of the harbour from above, but it was surprisingly quiet. Reply to this

I'm quite partial to Montreal's skyline at night.
The view from Club 737 (while expensive) is beautiful, but so is the view from the chalet atop Mt Royal or from Parc Jean Drapeau on Ile-St-Helene (the reflection in the St Laurent river is beautiful). Reply to this

The view from Terrasse Dufferin in Québec City is beautiful--Chateau Frontenac behind you and Basse-Ville (Lower Town) below. Reply to this

Does it have to be a city? If not on top of a nice flat Mesa in southern Utah is truly an amazing show in August with the meteor shower! If it does have to be a city, my vote is cast to Seattle, from a viewing platform by the sculpture garden (down by Pike's Market, thirty minute walk from the Green Tortoise Hostel). Reply to this
