hello I made it to jakarta in one piece(amazingly) the plane I was on was such a derilect p.o.s, rumour has it that once the planes in N.america are unsafe to fly, the give them to russia, then the russians give them to africa, and when they are to unsafe to fly in africa they are given to indonesia, the plane I was on was no exeption. frist off, the extieriour was rusting in some places, the interior was yellowed with age, seats had gashes in them, and the t.v closest to me screen was smashed out. How i dont know, when we going for take off, it seemed that every crack in the runway that we went over felt like we were driving over a lindmine, during the flight, a strange ratteling sound was coming ... read more

From dalat I went on a 3 day motorcycle tour deep into the central highlands. The tour was definetly worth the 150 Usd. My guide was very nice and stopped at many places to show me around and explain the vietnamese culture. The first night of the tour we stayed in a smal minority village called dak lak. It was nice to get off the beatin track a little bit, that night me and my driver enjoyed some traditional vietnamese food ... read more

Hi there well i made my way from phnom pehn down to the coastal town of sihanoukville. sihanoukville was pretty good, as i was in need of some serious beach time. the first day i was there i took a bout out to a smalll island. i spent the day lounging around on hte beach and talking to fellow travellers. Me being stupid never put on any sunscreen, so i got severely burnt. Im my face has completely peeled and im just starting on my chest and back. Fro sihanoukville i took a 13 hour bus to saigon, Vietnam. Saigon is so far one of my faveorite places, I could spend several hours just sitting in a cafe and watching the hundreds of thousands of motos pass by. it is amazing the volume of traffic in ... read more

Hi everyone havnt done a blog in a while so this one should be long. well I got to the border of thailand and combodia with no problems, getting a cambodian visa was very easy. As soon as a crossed the border into poipet i noticed a drastic change, much more poverty than in thailand, dirtyer, and for some reason it seemed to be hotter. A man came up to me and offered to give me a ride in his pickup to siem reap, he said it would take 3 and a half hours."dont be just another tourist takeing the bus" ride like the real khmer people, he said. I had to take him up on his offer, so he shoved me onto a tiny motorbike with 2 other grown men and set off for the ... read more

well another day in good time city, I woke up early this morning and went out on the streets and had some awesome freash orange juice and papaya. very cheap only 25 baht. wandered around the banglamphu area mostly, went the the choa praya river and sat my a buddist temple for a while watching the city pass me by. I am amazed at how bangkok is still standing after evrey day it is just so crazy, soo many people!the pollution here is soo bad. i first notices it flying over vietnam, laos and cambodia, in fact the whole southeast asia region is covered in a thick blanket of smog. and the choa praya river is basically bangkoks landfill by the looks of it. i think that i will stay here in bangkok for maybe 2 or ... read more
