My best travel experience was backpacking in India for two months.
I travelled around Rajastan and UttarPrades, and it was stunning.
The colours, the smelling, the cuture and the people.
Amazing, I always advice this trip.

Hi all, i'm new here. Would like to share my best trip with you all. Ive to say it's definitely my 14D13N to Osaka, Tokyo and Hokkaido. I went with my family and it was snowing really heavily, it was the first time i saw/felt snow for real and its really awesome and thrilling since my tropical island doesn't snow. At Osaka, it is slightly more slow-paced as compared to Tokyo and it felt really homely and warm to be there. Things are also a tad cheaper.

Tokyo has so much to see, maybe a little too much? It's really tough to get around in trains but it is fun and exciting to be there. I visited the local zoo and got up close with penguins and all. They have interesting people and culture over there - never a dull moment. Hokkaido was really the bomb, we stayed at a resort up the mountains and we took a coach bus to travel up further more to ski. The instructor were patient with us , newcomers and made sure we enjoyed ourselves and staying safe at the same time. I can't wait to go back to ski already, though it was freezing, this first experience was beyond words! I even went on the huge ferris wheel (i forgot the name of the place) and got an bird's eye view of Hokkaido's scenery. I really love japan and it is my best trip, ever! I didn't get a tour, i went free&easy with Check out their website for ttavel deals. I strongly recommend this company as i didn't regret my trip! ((:

Hi
Fishing with the locals off the east coast of Bali and then getting it all cooked up with rice, chilli and satay on the beach, washed down with a cold one...mmmmmm. I am now starving!

5. Gorilla Trek - Democratic Republic of Congo .....One of the most "exciting" days of my life.
4. Easter Island - Ever since I did a report on it in 3rd grade, I had dreamed of going there
3. Angkor Wat - Probably the best ruins I have ever seen, and to experience it with my 2yo (at the time) was
4 of the best days of my life
2. South Africa - Working(giving) and Travelling(taking).....To work in a rural South African hospital to learn
and to do what I could to help the locals and then travel around this incredible country
taking back some incredible experiences.
1. The day at the Taj........The most beautiful day with my daughter (3yo) this past summer.....Difficult to put in
words but probably the best and most fun day of my life. Reply to this

My best travel experience would have to be when I achieved my dream of visiting all 7 continents. After living and teaching in Chile (my 6th continenent) I traveled south for 2 months knowing that this would be a great chance to possibly travel to Antarctica. Upon hearing different stories from fellow travelers along the way I learned that there were "last minute" deals on ships sailing to Antarctica... still not truely beleiveing this I traveled as fast as I could to Ushuia Argentina and found out for my self. Signing that credit card slip that secured my passage on a 12 day journey to Antarctica was probably one of the most emotional moments of my life... I remember calling my parents to let them know and trying to hide the tears without success. I had to hang out another 8 days in Ushuia before my ship left. The day we began sailing we were all on deck for our lifeboat drill when someone noticed a double rainbow.... It was truly the most amazing journey of my life... one I will remember forever and one which makes me yearn to go back nearly everyday. This wasa goal I thought I might complete sometime in my lifetime, I never imagined what I was truely capable of achieveing if I just set my mind to it. I need a new goal now.;

Ps... why are we deleting posts because they are in other languages... isn't that kinda contradictory of a travelblog?? Reply to this

Hard choice! It would have to be camping in the Okavango Delta in Botswana..... just the group of friends that had formed and the polers/guides that had taken us out there. We sat around the campfire for hours each night, taking turns singing and dancing - they would teach us indigenous songs and dances, and then the couple from Germany would teach us all a traditional song. Then the Danes, the North Americans (ours were usually TV themes and pop songs, how sad!), the Aussies, the Scotts, then the lonely Swede. The evenings were filled with such happiness and laughter, complete strangers from across the globe coming together and sharing a bit of home with one another. Such a cliche, but couldn't have asked for a better experience out there (and it took attention away from having half our food for the week eaten by animals the first night - a decent distraction!)
