03 Sep 2007 Preparing to leave so monday was the day of picking up our visas for the ukraine. what a shithouse place to deal with, the ukrainian embassy. stopped at the information center on nourthbourne ave first and picked up a few momentos of australia, or canberra, more specifically. then on to the ukrainian embassy. susan had been there twice before and hated the experience both times. the ol stick at the counter must only be there as the wife of someone in there because she lacks any personality you would think someone representing a country would have. highly dislikable woman. i mainly dealt with a big young bloke, and he wasnt too bad. we were told to pick up our visas on monday 3rd september, so bright and early there we were at the
