While Jason took a trip to Bolivia and Rich went to meetings in Ohio, I flew down to NC for a few days to get acquainted with Maggie. All I can say is she likes to walk, walk, walk. She loves life and enjoys every day. Whether in Bolivia or NC, it's hard to say Good-bye.... read more

Published: August 23rd 2006North America » United States » North Carolina » DavidsonOverall, or well to sum it up, this trip was great for the family and quite doable for my business. I must give a great deal of credit to Lori. She organized most of it and catered to my job. I was able to stay busy with calling on customers via email, the phone, or and visits. The only problem I experieinced with the cell card for email or the cell phone was in Yellowstone. For that, I just took my vacation during that time. With the great organization, it became quite balanced. I enjoyed going out to see customers during the day and then coming back to the RV at night to be with them. Prior to arriving in Greensboro, North Carolina, I had been enjoying the North Carolina state bike routes. While planning my daily ride, I would try to take the marked biked routes as much as possible. They would meander along the back roads, providing a respite from honking horns and belching tailpipes. Looking at my road maps in the morning, I saw that I could take sate bike route 2 for a third of my journey to Davidson, North Carolina. But within my first two miles along Bike Route 2, I knew I was in trouble when I arrived at an intersection and the bike route wasn’t posted. Every other time I had ridden the bike routes, they were ... read more
