On Monday we started exploring again. Princeton was our destination. It has been on our list since we moved to New Jersey, but wanted to wait until it was warm enough to enjoying walking the city. We picked a beautiful day and was able to stroll around and visit the seminary. On our way home we drove through Trenton to see the capital of New Jersey. We ended the day with WaWA ice cream. Rich was asked to speak at a conference in MD so yesterday we headed there. As we drove along the Chesepekee Bay we reminised about James Misner's book the Chesepekee and the movie Patriot Games. Been working on getting the house settled. The bedroom is done so thought I'd share some pictures. Shamong is known for its garage sales and road side finds. After our walk through on Monday we spent the rest of the week bringing box after box and trying to get organized. On Saturday about 25 people showed up at 25 Oak Ct. with trucks and trailers to load the big stuff and bring it to our new home at 2 MILLS BROOK LANE, SHAMONG, NJ 08088. It amazed us as we watched the worker bees do their thing. By evening we all settled and exhausted. Here are a few pictures.... read more
Yes! We finally settled on a home to buy and signed papers on Monday. So once again we are in the midst of moving. It's exhausting, but fun too as each car/truck load makes it more like home. Here are some picture of signing day. One of girls who had come out to visit us in Iowa said as she drove up "it looks like you." After looking at 100's of houses we finally we found a home that really "fits" us.... read more
