I spent three more days with Eileen and Steve not doing too much of anything. I would get up in the morning, sit by the pool and then hang out in the evenings with them. Eileen and I managed to do all of the things we used to do together back in the day - eat lobsters, play games at a bar, watch movies (actually, she would watch and I would fall asleep), gamble, get too much sun and hang out solving each other’s problems. It was a very nice time and a great break - very relaxing and just what [View Full Entry]

I took the train on Easter Sunday to West Palm Beach. It’s about an hour train ride. I was going to met some friends from Grand Turk in West Palm and have some supper with them. So I started my way to Joe and Loretta’s house. Joe has this world class bar in his back yard. It’s my second time being there. Well I got there around 4 Pm on Sunday. Joe had some Ice cold beers ready for me right as I get there. We sat in his bar and few beers before we started the BBQ and cooked [View Full Entry]

We had a lot of things to do in a day. First, we went for a walk along Juno Beach. Then we visited a Loggerhead Turtle rescue/rehabilitation centre and then a wildlife rescue/rehabilitation centre. [View Full Entry]

I told Steph today that if my tax return is what I estimated it at (and it is usually correct to the penny), then I will pay for her to go to London/Paris with me. I don't want to go alone. That would suck a lot. Going to Paris will be akin to going to Mecca. I know that sounds so stupid but really. That is why I'm awake now because I just get sooo excited, rediculously excited and I feel within myself like I MUST go there. There is something inside, burning my soul, that I need to go [View Full Entry]

Went to West Palm Beach over the weekend and had a great (drunkin) time. Friday we just laid around and drank then met friends for dinner. Went to the land of the $14.00 martinin and the $9.00 Margarita (OUCH!) the Oakwood grill restaurant was nice but not overly speacial for be "acclaimed." Saturday was a beach day and then a wedding during the evening into the we hours of the morning (Thank God for the red room at Gatsby's http://www.gatsbysfl.com/photos.html) Sunday was a lazy day and then back to the grind on Monday. Best part of the trip was the upgrade [View Full Entry]

Ian and I were going to Florida with Ian's mom for his cousin's wedding, and decided to make a little vacation out of it as well. On a cold Thursday morning in Maine last March, the three of us drove to Manchester, NH where we had booked cheaper flights than from Maine. It is a cute, super-easy little airport. Luckily we had a direct flight to Orlando, and on the way down we were all able to sit in the same row. Arriving in Florida is always like Paradise (except for the hella long lines at the car rental desk) because [View Full Entry]

Have not published this yet as there are too many subscbribers to this blog and I haven't been in the mood to delete everybody. If you would like to unsubscribe, please do. This is just for fun. (As they say in Lebanon.."Just for fun"...no kidding..check out the Lebanese guy entries for women at salon.com. I checked out both sexes. One guy wrote to any possible ladies, "So long and thanks for all the fish"...Anybody know if Lebanon like the planet earth, has a back up copy?) Anyway, looking at the blog again because tomorrow will be off to the Bahamas to [View Full Entry]

Now, in an abandoned house. The ocean winds blow through it making a blend with the sea. "James" continues to take photos...he could be arrested for trespassing here. He knows this. It is exciting! He has been here before. DeJa Vu Each time James goes to dismantle this blog, he discovers something, or someone, else that is interesting! This blog is like a tapestry or fine silk carpet from Kashmir, pull out one string and the beauty is less. No one on this site, self included, is to be judged, rather observed. And what distinguishes depth of spirit from the carnival? After the tours, the talks, the fine dining, and 5 Star hotels with Carolyn and friends in India the appropriate question is, What Can I Learn? recall Hamlet, to learn of not to learn, saith Hamlet. A Traveler from the other side of the world, a great fan of Carolyn Myss's, commented on this blog that even with all the comforts of 5 Star Hotels, there may be a hazard of trading the authentic, the deep, the resonant (the Real) for a "superficial escapism," he wrote. What a loss if he's correct [View Full Entry]

Before we left India, Carolyn Myss said that our spirits would remain there for awhile before returning to us. I found this to be be true with Guatemala also. Diego and I last visited the ocean. I worked with Diego and the high waves. Shortly into our session, the waves calmed. We realized this calm was part of our session. I continued to hold him with both hands, working with the currents and the waves, letting the ocean perform the moves. The next morning, it was flat as glass. We worked again, and this time Diego was able to relax his [View Full Entry]
