Alright, it's time for the first update from abroad, I'm traveling with Rasmus Thisted, a very good friend of mine, whom you will for sure hear and see more of later on. Although my visit for this trip was short lived, I feel that my experience at the Sanctuary Hotel ( in Miami Beach is still blog worthy. That being said, this blog entry will be more like a hotel review versus a travel blog entry of my time in Miami Beach. Heisann, på tide med eit nytt innlegg tenke eg :) Tida flyr og snart berre tre veke igjen her i Miami. Halloween er stort her i USA og i går tok det heilt av. Gjekk med mitt fantastiske kostyme ilag med mange andre frå skulen, ned gågata - Lincoln Road, her på Miami Beach. Det tok evigheiter! Tjukt i folk og mange utruleg morosame kostymer. Nesten alle hadde kostyme, vaksne, ungar og til og med hundane. Ein venn av meg frå Praha, hadde kanskje det beste og stal naturlegvis mesteparten av showet! Hej allesammans! Märkte just att jag inte har skrivit på svenska på en stund, så idag får det bli på svenska till ära för min kära familj och alla andra som tycker att det är trevligt att läsa svenska. Hei og hå :) Lenge sidan eg har skreve noko her no, men det er fordi det ikkje skjer så stort mykje her. I tillegg går det ikkje an å logge på sol-blogg lenger. Det er grunnen til at eg har starta ein blogg her no! Miami er ein forholdsvis ny by, så er ikkje så mykje historie om den. Wow, Times flies! It's already saturday. Things are becoming more fun, after knowing more and more people.. On the second night, which was the last thing I posted in the previous blog I told you I met an Austrian guy Peter. I spent a lot of time the last couple of days with him. He told me that he was willing to go to Miami Downtown, so I said I was willing to join him. So, my last blog title was "Sunshine State", that is the correct name for the state between october till may, but in june till september its 'hurricane season'. In these months, there is not a lot of tourist in Florida. While the temperatures are still tropical, its just to humid which makes its cloudy. Its like Light-and-Thunder every day. However thats just from time-to-time, just like the rain... All with all it ain't bad, its just empty on the streets and not a lot of nightlife right now. Hi all, the last couple of days havent been that interested compared to the rest. Although I found myself into some unforseen expenses. The last night in D.C. I went on a pub crawl, hosted from our Hostel. I just did so, while I hadnt done things in particulary with HI, which I enjoyed so much in Chicago. It was a nice tour. 2 awesome weeks of vacation in South Florida Auch wenn es etwas verspätet kommt, möchte ich euch gerne von meinem Urlaub bzw. Trip nach South Beach, Miami erzählen. Am 7. August ging es los mit einer Art Greyhound Bus Richtung Miami. Nach 6 langen Stunden und kleinen Orientierungsschwierigkeiten habe ich doch noch mitten in der Nacht mein Hostel erreicht (zum Glück musste ein chilenischer Austauschstudent den ich im Bus kennengelernt hatte auch in dieselbe Gegend...). The weather in Miami greeted us with torrential thunder storms with forked lightning (not what we expected). The local bus took us to where our Hotel was situated, an Art Deco Hotel that should have read not updated since the 1960´s and where the breakfast came with a complimentary heart attack! But we enjoyed our time there, getting over jetlag and relaxing with a swim in the very warm sea and watching the thunder storms on the beach at night.
