Here are my 5 favorite spots (and guess the list will change as there is a lot more diving trips coming up !)

1. Palau, micronesia (although it is a real nightmare to get there)
2. Similan Islands, Thailand
3. Maldives
4. Taihiti, French Polynesia
5. Corsica, France

Loved all of those, especially Palau and looking for more so on the to do list ...
Coco Islands, Costa Rica
Papua New Guinea
Indonesia
Red Sea, although I am not a big fan of the too much touristic places, any advices?
Tanzania
and so much more but eh... that will keep me busy for a little while !

What's on your list? ok..getting curious here but you live only once so better be good! 😊 😊

From those I've dived 😊

Joint number 1!

1. Galapagos Islands, Ecuador
1. Sipadan, Borneo, Malaysia

3. Lembeh Straits, Sulawesi, Indonesia
4. Blue Hole, Belize (dive no 10! blew my mind)
5. Bunaken National Park, Sulawesi, Indonesia

The list of places I want to dive is much much longer 😊 - my next dive destination is just off the coast here in Brazil - Ilha Grande

Palau is high on that list, Pulawe (sp?) Aceh, Indonesia, the Similan Islands (I'm always in the wrong place when it's the right season!), Andaman Islands, back to Galapagos and to the Islands of Darwin and Wolf.

Then there is the Tongian Islands off Sulawsi, Flores, Papua New Guinea.... I think I could spend the rest of my life diving quite happily. 😊

My favorites are:
1. Alexandria, Egypt (I love ruins and that is one of the only places you can dive on submerged ones)
2. Blue Hole, Belize (Big Sharks and great scenery)
3. Channel Islands, California (lots of life and thick kelp)
4. 'The Caves' in Dahab, Egypt (great underwater scenery and lots of big life)
5. St. Lucia (excellent coral gardens and underwater scenery)

My list of where I would like to dive is boundless, but under the ice in Antarctica and the Galapagos Islands are at the top.

Diving is great! Reply to this

I have not dived in many countries (yet), but in the Red Sea I liked:
St. Johns reef in South Egypt, the further south the better.

Djibouti in the Red Sea was also very nice; I went to the Seven Brother islands with many manta rays, big shoals of fish, whale sharks are born there. Djibouti is not a tourist place at all; it is very hot, with volcanic landscapes, salt lakes, tribal people are still there, french foreign legion and american troops controlling Yemen and Somalia. But my scuba buddies thought that Egypt gave better value for money, better food onboard, better boat. But I prefer adventure.

Thailand: I preferred the Phi phi area above the Similan area (except Richelieu rock which is awesome)

I have seen a video a dutchman made in cocos island and it is absolutely fabulous.
