June 23rd: Today is kind of a nothing day but an important one just the same. Going to book the next lot of travel and accomodation etc. I have had a wee bit of a wander around Castleford today, which some people have described as "a bit of a village" but having grown up in Palmsterton it still looks big to me n'all. I've got things booked for Newcastle no worries, not too expensive either but the computer doesn't seem to want to let me go to scotland! ~later~ Well much stuff is booked now; got flights to mainland Europe and have Scotland sussed... but still I can't get England to Scotland booked... Hey, well the travel entries have been pretty quiet of late as all I do these days is work work work. But just thought I’d take some pictures of the weather we've been having in the UK over the last week. It was -3 when I came home from work in the early hours of the morning. Even had a bit of an off road driving experience. The other about 5 inch of snow fell whilst I was working, I set off home down the slope next to the hotel when the car started to slide and I ended up on the golf course. Well, I can't believe it's been a year but I’m back. My mum and sister picked me up from the airport and I even managed to arrive back on a sunny day, which apparently has been very rare this year in England. Chilled out mostly on Saturday and caught up with my family and went out on Sunday to catch up with a few friends. All in all things are pretty much the way I left them. Hopefully start looking for a job this week and see what the bank balance looks like. Oh the joys of the real world. Still at least my sister didn't burn my house down.... read more
