Gulliver The Pup - Gulliver The Rotti

Gulliver The Rotti Hi my name’s Gulliver and I’m a very soft Rottweiler puppy of only 18-months old. Now that might seem very young to many people but with my life ratio of 7:1 with a human, I guess I’m just getting into adolescence and my hormones are starting to run riot and so I’ve just got to get out from it all.

My owner Darren seems to care for me but nether the less he leaves me in the car all the time and whilst I don’t need food or water it would be nice if he were to take me inside his home once and a while, maybe give me a spin in the washing machine, maybe he’d even run to a touch of comfort in the final rinse to make my coat silky soft. I’m sorry Daz but a life inside a Chelsea Tractor’s just not for me… I’ve just got to get away

Hey, it’s me again. At the moment I’m down in Castleford, I saw the Costain people on Calendar and thought I’d go down and see what was going on. Looking at all the big diggers, it made me wish I could have a go. Nobody was around so I thought I’d try and climb over … it didn’t work. The security guard saw me and pulled me back down. I explained all about my tragic past and I also told him I’d love to drive that big digger as I have only seen toy ones. He said he’d allow me to [View Full Entry]

I awoke this morning after a little lay in and had a look outside the tent to see another misty morning and started to think how I was going to make my way back to the ferry. I did think about just heading up to Calais and crossing via the channel ferry then riding home from Folkestone which would have meant more miles on the bike and extra fuel cost and the cost of the crossing that was already paid for on the ferry. But if it was going to rain all day, the Calais crossing would have got me [View Full Entry]

Loading the Ferry

Today was my third day in France and looking out of the tent, the weather was a heavy, damp mist which looked like it was going to get worse as the day went on. Wet weather gear was put on and off I went on the road to Cherbourg. The journey was nearly 100-kms so with the weather threatening to get worse I headed up to the motorway to get the journey over with fast. I stopped at a road end that fed the motorway. Cars passing the end of the road seemed to slow down. I joined the road [View Full Entry]

I woke up this morning feeling quite bright, despite having a couple of drinks last night in the Marie Celeste pub in Arromanches. Now first thing first ablutions, I was straight down to the shower block to freshen up before the day’s adventures. To day we were going to head to Port en Bessin for Breakfast, then along the coast visiting the coastal towns and villages as we went. When I got to Port en Bessin there was a large market which took up a full street, after we looked around the market I went for breakfast at a café [View Full Entry]

I found myself an internet café in Hunstanton that let me check out the World Superbikes at Silverstone so I knew what direction I needed to be heading in. I needed transport and I’ve found out if I give girls a sad look, they’ll do anything for me, in fact one old lady wants to take me to Wembley next week. Once again I set off on my travels, my destination Silverstone in Northamptonshire. It was another long journey and I had to stop for a break at a farm. I looked around the farm at all the different pieces [View Full Entry]

While I was down in Norfolk I manage to get a lift into Hunstanton in a very nice sports car. At first when I was offered a lift in a car I had bad memories of being in Darren’s car but once I saw the flashy Mazda MX5 I knew I was safe and I could get out anytime because unlike Darren’s 4x4, it didn’t have a roof on it. We headed towards Hunstanton and I really enjoyed the ride in the nice car. When I got into Hunstanton I decided I wanted to Take a look around but I [View Full Entry]

Well I’ve never been a fan of motorbikes because of the way they scream past the car when Darren and I are out driving, mind you milk floats scream past Darren when he’s behind the wheel. Never the less my first outing found me heading down to the Norfolk countryside and the Snetterton racing circuit for the British Superbikes event. When I got to the circuit I was very weary of all the bikes as they rolled into the parking area but I soon started to mingle with the bikers and started to realise they’re not a bad lot at [View Full Entry]

Boogie on Gulliver

Dear Darren, I really need you to understand why it is I have left you. It was not an easy decision, one that I have thought about for months now. We haven't got along for a while now, and I can't stand the fights and arguments that we keep having. I feel if I stay around for much longer I may be forced to bite you on the bum. I know if I do I will have to do time in prison ( dangerous dogs act 2001 ) I feel it best this way, please don't ever think I don't [View Full Entry]
