Okay guys, sorry for the delay. The next couple entries will involve going back in time to the first days of April... Enjoy! Not much of a break for the traveler after my Italy trip. Thursday I took a day trip to Neuchatel. Yes, technically it was academic because I had one of my 8 required hour-long interviews for my paper there, but let’s be real, after the interview was over I did not do anything academic-related for the rest of the day. 9th September Guess what happened to me today? One of my front teeth came out. Daddy helped me get my wiggly tooth out. It was fun. I gave it to the mouse fairy she gave me two euros. The man in the wine shop told us they don’t have a fairy they have a mouse that gets your teeth. 10th September We drove to Switzerland today. It was a long way to there. Then we found two camp grounds and we decided what one we were going to have. We thought the one by the lake would be good - and it is. And guess what - I pulled my other front tooth out here. Et voilà! La principale raison de notre venue en Suisse : assister (et participer!) au mariage du frérot! Vendredi, nous avons principalement aidé à tout décorer et installer, afin que ce soir parfait pour le lendemain. Un moment aussi pour apprendre à connaître tout plein de monde dans la famille à Doris (ma belle-sx00ur, cx00est officiel maintenant!) Après avoir calmé les angoisses des jeunes mariés et avoir aidé à tout préparer, le grand jour est arrivé! Enfin arrivés à Neuchâtel! Ce qui veut dire que nous restons chez Pascal et Doris et que nous n’avons plus à porter nos sacs à chaque jour! Yé! Alors lundi soir, Pascal nous montre fièrement son nouveau patelin : Neuchâtel! Une belle petite ville le long du lac de Neuchâtel où les gens parlent le français! Mais attention, pas n’importe quel français…faut surveiller sa langue parce qu’ici il n’y a pas de place pour les mots mâchés! Surtout avec une belle-sœur orthophoniste… Neuchâtel est charmante, pleine de petites rues en dalles et de maisons à plusieurs étages, un peu style médiéval.
