So we left National Park this morning half past nine. Thanks to Marco, Micheal, and Nellie, we all got rides down to Wellington. I rode with Micheal, a German, in his brand new campervan...the whole rides way was interesting...trying to communicate since his English was a bit rough but we managed. So yesterday we were on the bus practically all day long. Coming from Roatoura to Taupo to catch a bus into National Park were we were to do the Tangorino Crossing. As the bus was heading up into the mountains, the horn kept blowing..."what the?"...we all thought....the lady bus driver soon pullled over on the side of this very curvey road, up hill, and said, "the guages are indicating its HOT...we need to stay here and radio in the main head honcho"....great, in the middle of nowhere and it looked like it was about to pour....several buses stopped to see what [View Full Entry]

Last nights Maorian, Maiti, concert was insane! Yes, a bit touristy but amazing! Im so glad we went!!! A shuttle arrived at 5:45 to pick us up at our hostel, we arrived around 6pm....we all got packed into a "ike wedding reception geen tent"...where dinner plates were set up.....our MC came out, talked to us about what we were going to experience, asked us all where we were from, it appeared that 21 countries were being represented that night!. after 30min...we all went to an half outside, half inside stage....where the concert was going to take place. So, yes, it's true about having four seasons in ONE day. It rains one min, the clouds are here, the sun comes out for 5 min...it gets cold, the clouds come, then disappear, then it gets hot, COLD< HOT< RAIN< SUN> it's incredible. Then there goes my jacket, on...OFF...ha, its crazy!!! So im loving every min here. Um, its very diverse, people wise....brown, white, yellow, all colors of the rainbow. Hey there, Well, the [roblem w/my camera was NOT that it was Broken...it was the freaking SD memory Card!!!! HA! Problem solved! WEll, today I'll be taking a ferry over to Waiheke island. Wasn't able to get ahold of any hostels down there to have a place reserved so lets see what happens. The latest news: well, my NEW camera BROKEN!!! Yes, the camera I did so much research on, the one I was decided on for a long time, is now READING "MEMORY CARD ERROR"...don't know if it's bc the canon sd600 doesn't accept 2gb sd cards?
