It's now 2 AM in the morning...it was a long flight...i'm thirsty and oh delirious. Lima is crazy by night and so am I! I'm all packed. Took everything but the kitchen sink. How does one even pack for a long extended backpacking trip? I just know that I'm taking a medical kit that has all kinds of crazy stuff that i've never packed. But it's "just the in case" type situation. Bleh. My sister told me I should just ship the crap 'I really don't need ; ) It's 2am and i've i'm beginning to realize how many amazing friends i'm leaving behind. I will miss everyone so dearly. Had the full on flu for a day. If that's possible. Started off the day with slight body ache. Decided to go for a bike ride with abuddy of mine. Riding, the tank, no suspension at all, I felt every single bump on the trail. More than usual! All my joints were aching and my neck was stiff as can be. Was I getting sick? Departure Date: Jan. 17th. Arrival Destination: Lima Peru Vaccinations for trip: HepB, tetnus, Tb (all 3 given for free while I was working at the hospital). Hep A, Yellow Fever (the most expensive) and Typhoid (best to take pill form bc it lasts 5 yrs). taken at Passport Health Clinic.
