Southern California National Parks

Our latest hiking trip took us to Southern California to visit Channel Islands, Joshua Tree, and Death Valley National Parks. While the visit to Death Valley was a return trip (we were there 17 years ago), our visits to Joshua Tree and Channel Islands raised the total number of national parks we have visited to 37. We flew into Los Angeles on April 14th and returned on the red eye that left LAX at 12:50 AM on April 21st. I'll put a page of pictures, with a brief description, for each day of the trip. You can click on any picture to be taken to see an album of all the pictures for that day with comments about the pictures. To return to the original entry, click on "Close" at the top right of the album screen. The pictures are best viewed with your computer resolution set at 1024 by 768 pixels. You can change your screen resolution by right clicking on your desktop and selecting "Properties" then going to the "Settings" tab and using the slide bar to change the resolution.
