Crater Lake, Redwood, and Lassen Volcanic Parks

I did not attempt to keep up with blog entries on our most recent trip to these three national parks so will do something of an abbreviated update of the trip here.

We flew from Greenville/Spartenburg airport to Portland, Oregon, via Atlanta and Salt Lake City. Flight into Salt Lake was delayed and we missed our connection but were relatively lucky to get on the last flight out that evening. But we had a very late drive to our motel in Oakridge, arriving after 1:00 AM.

The trip back was even worse. Ended up being stranded in Cincinnati overnight before arriving back home a day late. More about the trip, with pictures, on the next pages.
