1 EUR son 12.000 kips, asi ... read more

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our adventure will start in just 6 hours, when we will fly to zurich and from there Bangkok. It is not deprived of adventure, since we only have 50 min for our transfer... (fingers crossed) So backpack finished, shutting computer down and really excited, this is my farewell before connecting again from the far east! Big kiss to everyone!... read more

Just one word to describe what we saw and experience during 3 days and 2 nights: IMPRESSIVE. I did not have any preconceived idea of what the desert would be like, but I never thought the landscape would amaze me so much. I did not consider myself a desert-lover person before, but this trip totally changed my mind! We went into a tour with 10 more people- total strangers which after a few hours in the mini.bus and the shared ccouscous during the stops become fellow travellers. Real nice and varied group- there were actually people from the 5 continents! The route was Atlas Valley- Kasbashs tour- Dades Valley and Gorge- Todra Gorge- Merzouga-Dunes-camel ride- back to Marrakech. Quite long drives, to be honest, with a crazy driver speeding in the winding roads of the ... read more

It all started with Lorena and I thinking about the second part of our trip to Istanbul in May last year. Add some exotic but close destination to Spain, a cheap low cost airline flying there and... Morocco 1-week trip planned in no time! First stop: Marrakech. Marrakech is quite a popular destination among Spaniards, quite many of our friends had previously been there. But none of them could explain what we were about to witness: Cultural shock, vibrant life and chaos all over the place. The moment we arrived to Djma El Fnaa square we started to understand that was going to be quite an intense trip. Completely lost in our way to the riad, after asking ten people and 30 minutes walking with our backpacks, we had no choice but following the kid in ... read more

After two flights and 14 hours in planes, I arrived to Amsterdam on sunday. Cold, but sunny, so I guess I cant complain. I cant really beliveve that my trip is over, and that I am sitting on my desk again at the office dealing with the stuff I left on my desk almost 3 weeks ago. I am back to my appartment, to my usual supermarket, back to my daily rutine, and thailand seems so far away that it looks more like a dream than I place where I was 3 days ago. There is so much to say about this trip, that I will fill pages and pages, but since I may see you soon I can tell you all about it in person. All I can say is that is has been one ... read more

I have spent my two last days in Thailand in Bangkok. Bangkok is a weird city, big, hot, polluted and smelly. However, it has certain charm in some way (I am actually trying to find out in which way). Apart from seeing incredible temples, tasting delicious food from the street vendors (not sure what it was half of the times), and meeting people from all over the world just having a beer in Khao san road, the only thing bangkok is worth a visit is for.. shopping!

I realised this morning that it was valentine's day when I saw this guy in a scotter in Koh Tao (the main road at sairee beach is a funny concept of road and sidewalk where you put your life at risk just by walking on it) carrying a bunch of flowers, and then looked at my ticket Koh Tao-Bangkok which was for the 14 February. So far, one of the most unique's valentines day I have had. I have woken up at 8 am, had a considerable breakfast, said goobye to Leah after 4 fun days travelling together, got in the taxi, got the sticker at the pier as at least 100 more people, got a ferry, waited for 1 hour, spent 8 hours in a bus and finally rode on a tuc tuc to the ... read more
