Valentine day on the road

I realised this morning that it was valentine's day when I saw this guy in a scotter in Koh Tao (the main road at sairee beach is a funny concept of road and sidewalk where you put your life at risk just by walking on it) carrying a bunch of flowers, and then looked at my ticket Koh Tao-Bangkok which was for the 14 February.

So far, one of the most unique's valentines day I have had. I have woken up at 8 am, had a considerable breakfast, said goobye to Leah after 4 fun days travelling together, got in the taxi, got the sticker at the pier as at least 100 more people, got a ferry, waited for 1 hour, spent 8 hours in a bus and finally rode on a tuc tuc to the guesthouse in Bangkok 12 hours later. You have to agree with me that it is far from romantic, but quite unique. During this time, I have watched 4 movies, met a few germans, had a siesta and had the time to reckon that my trip is almost over and i would happily stay travelling for a few more months.

So, finally in Bangkok and ready to have an early night cause I am exhausted. Tomorrow some imtense sightseeing, shopping and khao san road wandering ahead!

Me di cuenta esta manyana que era san valenti cuando vi a un tipo en una moto en Koh Tao (la calle principal de sairee beach es un concepto gracion de carretera y acera donde pones tu vida en peligro solamente caminando por ella) llevando un ramo de flores, y entonces mire mi billete Koh Tao-Bangkok, que era para el 14 de febrero.

Hasta ahora, este ha sido uno de los dias de san valentin mas unicos que he pasado. Me he levantado a las 8 am, he tomado un desyuno consistente, me he despedido de Leah, despues de 4 divertidos dias viajanado juntas, tome un ferry, espere 1 hora, pase 8 horas en un bus y finalmente tome un tuc tuc al hostal en Bangkok, donde llegue 12 horas mas tarde. Estareis de acuerdo conmigo en que, si no es reomantico, al menos es unico. Durante todo esre tiempo, he visto 4 pelis, conocido a unos alemanes, echado una siesta y me he dado cuenta de que mi viaje toca a su fin y que me quedaria alegremente por aqui viajando unos meses mas.

Asi que, finalmente en bangkok y lista para imre a dormir porque estoy cansadisima. Manyana tengo por delante un intenso dia de visitas turisticas, compras y mamoneo en khao san road!!
