Good morning from Kyoto! This is your blog update re the trip from Toronto to Whitehorse! Long travel day, but so very comfortable on Icelandic Air. The crew we have are phenomenal!!!!! So beautiful, (and handsome), professional and customer service oriented. Made for a very nice day on the plane. Hi everyone! Well, it's Monday morning and we're on our way! Many of us stayed at the Carlingview Airport Inn last night. Very nice accommodation. Up and at 'em and over to the private terminal to catch our plane: Icelandic Air! We're on our way to Whitehorse today, where passengers from the west will join us. (UPDATE: It is now 9:34 p.m. in Kyoto, Japan! We arrived just over 2 hours ago! What a very long 2 days of travel: Toronto to Whitehorse and then Whitehorse to Japan today. The City of London is closed today! No transit, no schools.........no nothing! Apparently, this is a "first" in over 30 years.........lucky me! So, Kate, you were asking just how much snow did we get........ And here we are, the final entry! (of travel) It's our last day in Iceland. We have a free morning to do as we choose. I have a stream of traffic coming through our hotel room as there is free wireless connection in the room..........everyone is checking e-mails: Leona, Gail, Elviera, Ben, Tim and Lynn, Anne, Tina, Jarrott, ........My Internet Cafe is open! I should have posted this yesterday already......but time flies......A BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MOM, HELEN FORTIN!!!!!) Wow! Good morning everyone, We are up and at 'em this morning because we leave for Iceland today. Booo hooo......our last stop on the journey! We had a fantastic time last night! We had our city tour in the afternoon, and then headed to the Castle, to the Cathedral, etc. Unfortunately, it was already dark and my camera doesn't take very good pictures at night, but I tried!!!!
