Greetings from beautiful Iceland! (even though I am writing this on Saturday evening, I am quite certain it won't get sent out till at least Monday, when I am back home) We arrived yesterday (Friday), mid-afternoon. Hi everyone, The last blog was getting to be too long (especially with all the photos), so I thought that Egypt deserved a 2-part blog! During the day in Luxor, we returned to the hotel to enjoy a lunch on a Felucca; we sailed along the Nile and it was most enjoyable (yes, even I enjoyed lunch on a sailboat! Hi everyone! Well, I'm just about caught up on the blogs! Whew!!!! It's now Thursday afternoon and I have about an hour before a quick bite to eat and then off to the Slovak Philarmonic! We arrived in Prague on Tuesday evening. We flew at night, which is a rare thing on this tour, but I did manage to catch the phenomenal sunset from the plane (actually, Susan took the picture for me! Hi everyone, Well, moving right along with the blogs........thank the Lord for very high speed internet! Gotta love it! So you see that we left Nairobi, and flew to Luxor, Egypt (I'm learning a lot about geography also; my nephews, Ben and Evan, would be very proud of me!!!!!!) Arrival in Luxor was very smooth and handled very efficiently. Quite the contrast, as we drive down the streets of Luxor, compared to the very, very bumpy rides on the roads (and I use that word loosely) of the Samburu Game Reserve!
