Ay, The Thrilla in Shea Field
the fans got their money's worth, even at $1000 a ticket.... went down to the third out, third strick bottom of the 9th inning...go ahead run on 1st with bases loaded.... it doesn't get any better than this a tough Mudcat Grant style in control pitcher against an iron man hitter with Casey arms that can shatter a ball and drive the ball outta the ball field a wicked 78 mph curveball that started out high and outside, slashing right to left and top to bottom that left the batter dazed and standing flat footed No Joy In Mudville as Beltran struck out and the Fat Lady Gasped

Italy
I am waiting for Italy....afterall we walked our legs, feet and soles off there including nearly loosing our lives in a crowd of 20,000 people in the square on Dec 31st. And don't you miss the thin pizza?

Yes I remember well sailing through the English Channel and seeing the White Cliffs of Dover. A very long time ago--the army hasn't transported troops overseas by ships for decades. Great photographs.

It looks like spring is well along
Son, it is so beautiful there. I love all the spring blooms in the flowering trees. How strange to see palm like trees interspersed. I liked that live wall also. I have no idea what the plant is though. Go back and take a closer and direct shot of it.
