Yes, I know it’s been a while since I updated my blog. This week was a week of doubt and questioning. I guess it’s what you’d expect six weeks into a new chapter of life. But this is not the venue to record such topics so I will, with your permission, change the topic.

This week I didn’t get the memo that the quiz night IEP group meeting had been cancelled. I arrived at the pub, ordered my dark Guinness and moved into the patio area expecting to see familiar faces. I startled to see that our customary table was empty. There I was a pint of beer and an empty pub. I sat down at the bar and foolishly drank down the pint. I guess when it rain it pours. But as someone told me “a pint never hurts”!

Friday afternoon I went out with some friends from the office and later that evening saw the recently released film “Talladega Nights” (Will Ferrell). Will is so good at character comedy. You can’t help but laugh.

Works going well. I’ve assisted with projects ranging from a Navy Dive Training Facility,

a new maintenance and staging commuter rail yards and a new run of sanitary sewer line.

I’m a bit interested in just how many people are reading these blogs and where you’re located. With this particular blog would anyone that reads this please post a brief comment so that I can get a count and idea where people are at that are reading these blogs (message in a bottle). No need to include your name I’m just looking for city and or country. Thanks.

The photos in this blog are just a few of the 60 plus photos that I stitched together into an extensive panorama of Parnell Rd. I’ll be sending the file to some of you via email. If I miss sending the file to you and you’d be interested in a copy drop me an email.

Missing you at Benson
The blogs are a welcome distraction from the oppressive weight of tender preparation for the world's most politically charged building envelope. You are a diarist that even a Russian intellectual would appreciate. Remember in your travels, the ring "wants" to be found.
