Response to Bill Bryant
Hi Bill. I may answere your question in greater detail in another blog. The brief response to your question regarding England is this: No, they don't seem to travel much. For a small country you'd think that they would at least visit towns and sites in other parts of the UK, but they don't. there were a number of individuals that I met that had never traveled to London or visa versa never left London. Thanks for reading.

no man is an island - if he can leave.
Great blog! Keep it up! I wonder if the reason Kiwis and Aussies seem to travel so much is because they live on an island. Did you find that folks in England traveled much?

Taking the Jump
i've heard it said that it isn't the sudden stop at the bottom or the zero gravity free fall up to 200 mph that causes beaks of sweat to break out on the forehead it's the blood pressure rise when one looks down while in free fall and sees that the safety harnass has came loose and is flapping in the wind SCREAMING does NOT HELP and is considered poor style

We are enjoying your fascinating updates and photos from your exciting adventures. It is great news to hear that your job interview has gone so well and that you are likely to have a position soon. How could they pass up a great guy like you, with such outstanding credentials ?? When I was your age, I nearly tood advantage of an offer by Australia, for free passage for a single person and a job as a Machinist Tool and Die Maker for one year and then a free return trip home. They needed skilled craftsmen and just knew that a single guy would find a lovely partner, marry, and stay in the country. At that time, my grandmother was becoming frail and I decided not to go while she was living andthen, I found a wonderful girlfriend too, so the experience never happened! We anxiously await another installment in your travel journal. Thanks for including us! Jim and Melinda Lesniak

Brave soul!
Since you were the first to jump of your group, did you get to watch others jump and their reactions before they took their leap?

Follow your desire
Follow your desire as long as you live; do not lessen the time of followng desire, for the wasting of time is an abominatiown to the spirit. (Ptahhotep, 2350 BC). One today is worth two tomorrows; what I am to be, I am now becoming. (Benjamin Franklin) I have wandeared all my life, and I have also traveled; the difference between the two being this, that we wander for distraction, but we travel for fulfillment. (Hilaire Belloc). A few enouraging thoughts to remind you that your choice to travel and see the wonders of the world is a good thing.

Those were the days my friend....
Those were the days my friend, we thought they'de never end.... Isn't it wonderful to know we are in the drivers seat of our life and we can control how much of something we are going to put up with and when it is time to say enough is enough. I am so glad to see you out of that last job Donavin. For one thing I know I will be getting more sleep knowing you are happy.
