Horses and Women
Old Cowboy's Proverb When I die, there are 2 things I want. Tan my hide and make the leather into a woman's riding saddle. That way I can be between the 2 things I love most..... Still with the horses boy, not as expensive as women and you get to win once in a while

Wished you would have taken pictures of more hats...what a kick
Hi son, what great hats...those must have been the most obnoxious! The lady in the feathers had an expression on her face to match her hat. Yesterday, we were at an art gallery that featured Dr. Suess art...that blue feathered hat came straight from there I am sure! How is the mo??? We contributed $30 US on you. Go Donavin...go. Only a few days left. We are on the Oregon coast in Cannon Beach...weather is mild and sunny. Glad you are having a nice time.

Youngster Photo
Donavin, your little guy photo is really great! The resemblances are there, then to now, and it reminds me of our little Greg, too. Both of you guys are remarkable folks. Jim

How is the itch?
How is the beard growing in? It looks fairly nice on you son....does it itch and does food stick to it?

So very beautiful
These remind me of the cathedrals we visited in Italy. The biblical stories many times portrayed in the glass was interesting.

Chartres Cathedral
Yours is a beautiful narative of your visit to such a beautiful structure. Warming yourself above the heating grate reminds me of Sunday School when we were kids. Winter classes were so cold and only warmed up by time to go home! I love the stained glass photos, which are remarkably good, considering the lack of "sun" light. Many Thanks! Jim

Sometimes Voting Doesn't Work
1776 was a very fine vintage in rifled .36 caliber squirrel sniper musket balls...many British Redcoat officers fell from sniper gut shots along the Lexington Boston Road ". I must say this system is so much better than one where a person straps explosives to their body and detonates it amongst innocent and defenseless people. Friday we find out if Auckland will be strapped with a White Elephant (think Kingdome (Seattle))."

Stained glass pics
very nice pics of stained glass windows hard to do in a dark cathederal especially with a digital camera and their limited dynamic range who's going to be the Big Bad Ugly American and slam the French over their architecture and artistic talents?

Snow photo Op!
Your Paris photos, in this last group, have showed me what my brother and his wife were so thrilled with when they visited Paris. Your timing was perfect in getting just the right amount of snow to show case the scenes that you photographed. Great shots! Happy Thanksgiving to you, too. I'll be thinking of you as I sample my turkey dinner and give you a little toast, "Naz Drowie". Jim Jim

Shiners and Bentleys!
Great looking cars, and tough looking eye! Remeber that sports jocks grow old before their time! The car show certainly separates the men from the boys. Not a Model T to be seen. I'd love to be enjoying the Spring to early Summer that you are experiencing. Our weather is rain and more rain. Flooding all over King, Snohomish and Pierce Counties, and these are just the ones that I have been able to personally observe. Jim Jim

Opera
I could feel the excitement of your Parisian Opera experience while viewing your excellent photos. For my last year's trip to Poland, I had purchased a new Blazer and dress slacks in hope that a concert performance in Warsaw or Krakow would coincide with our visit, but this turned out to be the only disappointment in our travels there. We even missed out on the piano performance at the home of Fredrick Chopin. This was really a let down, but I survived! Jim

Smooth and soft
Uncle Cliff, The rent agrrement says nothing about smooth and soft!!

Election results
we call it "opening a can of whoop ass" Bush looked like a Texas hunting dog shot twice by Cheney today...tail between his legs and on a dead run- draggin his butt. Bush was so pissed off, he fired Saddam von Rumpsfield you missed the big storms here, Pinapple Express roared in from Hawaii, warm and tons of rain...rained so long, many of the newly arrived sun tanned Californians melted and their newly build poorly located houses floated down the rivers.... beard looking good....have Steph comb and rub it each day....makes it come in smooth and soft

Steph
She's a keeper, sense of humor. Chance of tactics=stay away from sheep

George's Facial Hair
George's Facial Hair is not in your future.....genetic limitations....too many Scandahovian genes in your DNA.....but women do love blonde hair, they just don't care for us Swedish Finns eating pickled herring and lutefisk....it's the bad breath afterward..... try the sheep manure for chest hair growth...apply evenly, don't want patchy growth

Stubble Growth
Keep up growing the wire brush and soon you will look like Sir Walter Raliegh or one of the Smith Brothers, of cough drop fame! Jim

Cricket and Fireworks
It is quite apparent that I do not know Cricket from Rugby, but bottom line is good news that your scrape is healing nicely. I've had lots of fun with fireworks in my young years, but learned from experience that they are totally unpredictable, built by idiots, and have no quality control. Keep this in mind as you use them, you too will discover what I have!! Jim

Fireworks and Bobby Trap TNT satchel Charges
hope you still have all your fingers and eye balls....fireworks are dangerous....ask the family about the explosive shooting star shell that went horizontal on the beach at Laconner....all the burn victims jumped into the cool bay water or the time i almost blew up a car on the Bay Center bridge with a miss aimed rocket...it exploded on their windshield....kids screaming and crying....bad scene i was sober in both of these escapades.... we always have several houses here burnt down to the ground by fireworks landing on roofs during the Crazy Fourth

Paris
These are beautiful photos of your visit in Paris. My only Parisian experience was as a kid, smelling the fragrance from my aunts empty perfume bottle, "Evening in Paris"!! Maybe someday I will be so fortunate as you were to visit there. Jim
