Summer palace with the crazy two!

Current mood: loving it!
more fun day by day.

So the hostel is becoming to be a little more fun! moved into a dorm and myself Cara and Ashley are off to the Summer palace. Dave had already gone out so im afraid i have to spend the day with two gorgeous gals. so after waking them up to move into there room we say hi again and head out to another bus......726.

I Had a really funny day actually. the girls are great and are looking after me. im the puppy they are scared to loose hahahaha its some comment about how often i disapeer to take photos. Maybe they think id get people confused and wouldnt cope on my own hahahaha cheers chicken's youve been a good crack!!

Sooo the day really consisted of laughing, eating and taking pictures of the pretty fabulous surroundings. the food was great here aswell although im noticing some dodgy flavour that takes my breath away everytime i cop a taste. its not pleasnt so im cautious about how quick i eat here. Im starving man i tell you. hahaha

so we walked the sights through various temples and raced a couple of the towers which was nackering.

The views of china can only be described as paintings. we all know the style of paintings created by chinese artists that are worked up with water colours. These images are so close to how china looks. its a mix of black and white shades and tones that blend across the stretch of horizons that form the great views in some of the pictures here. Compared to the Forbidden City this place is a massive leap as it has sooooo much more to see. Cara and Ashley helped also.

After the Palace we decided to head back and get some shopping for the following days Trek of the Great Wall and when done we went straight out to the Donghuamen Night Market. ooooooh this is the Bug market. the place where you can munch on anything from flies to dogs. To be honest....... the market was a long odd looking strip of samey stores that all sold the same food but in massive quantities. Myself and Ashley tucked into some bug on stick that wasnot pleasant. after hunting for food i grabbed a beef wrap and a pork burger thingy that i really think was A LA Ratta!!! after eating my heart out i headed back to the digs to share a beer and now a room with the lovely pair....... and DAVE.

Tomorrow we climb the Great Wall.

This is what im here for and i cant wait.
