Final blog (for now)

This week stood out for good news and bad news. The good news was that the apartment I had picked out to stay in, when on Bali was available for a very decent rate. The bad news was the outcome of a number of tests I had undergone in hospital over the past couple of weeks. When I arrived back from London, there were some physical issues that 'forced' me to see a doctor. Long story short, the doctor ordered some tests (echo/ultra sound, X-ray, blood screen, CT scan) and last Thursday the outcome of the CT scan showed, I need surgery to remediate the issues. The surgery has been planned for end of this month and recovery will take some time. Needless to say that recovery in an ocean or a small apartment on Bali, is not the most suitable way to ensure a speedy recovery. This forces me to postpone the dive adventure until I'm fully recovered and fit enough to dive.
