Contiki Part II

15/10--Gd Bye favourite country and off to Austria today!
On our way there we stop for lunch in Liechtenstein, Vanus the city, smallest country in Europe...
Then as a surprise our driver Mark and out tour guide Todd took a detour and took us quickly down somewhere to Germany to see the Disney inspired castle...WOW!!! up we went on a 35 min walk up the hill, it was so worth it!!!
After that short stop, back on the coach and to Insbruck , Austria for the night.
Check out the city, had a great meal including 'turkey schnitzel' and the original drink of schnapps as an after dinner drink!!
Let me add that the drive to Austria was AMAZING!!! The views kept on getting better and better...
Cristal clear lakes surrounded by mountains...Took our breath away...
River INN runns right thru the middle of the city...
INN = River name
Bruck = bridge
Thats how this city got its name

I reckon now AUSTRIA is my favourite!!!!!!!! HA!!

16/10-- Very very early start of the day on our way to ITALIA!!
Our first stop will be Venice.
BON JORNO!!!!
Caught the ferry across to the island which is sinking around 2cm a year!! (and you can actually notice how much is been going down)
WOW! so much history, you can smell the amazing FOOD and COFFEE in the air...Thats what I'm talking about!
Stop in San Marco, centre of town where is completely full of pigeons ...You can't harm them as the people from Venice believe that if the pigeons leave San marco piazza the city will sink!
Had a look at the city, shops everywhere, went to a 'glass blowing' demostration. Later on a must: GONDOLA ride to discover the beautiful canals all around this incredible city! We called ours the LOVE BOAT (us and 2 couples shared it)
Managed in 45mins to finished a whole bottle of wine whilst admiring and enjoying the ride! Let me say that you can feel it ones you off it..) hehhehe!
After that was shopping, gelati and just taking it all in....#Later in was a traditional 4 course meal with the group and LOTS AND LOTS OF VINO AGAIN....!!!!!!!!!! Yehhaaa!!
Live entertainment from two locals playing the sax & armonica! Sooo cool...

Hey guys just saw your pic's of a night out in London WOW talk about painting the city red ha ha ha...that ice room looked bloody cold but fun just the same...hey u know u guys have one @ home here too ha ha ha.
