Planning to be located in Kaanapali over the next 9 days. It shouldn't be bad however because the lodging at this condo has all the comforts you need. The kitchen is fully equipped. Plenty of chairs
and sofas for lounging a very large flat screen tv, CD player and stereo for playing your ipod. Just sit back relax and enjoy. Didn't even set the alarm last night-why bother, no particular place to go, and work was not on my mind. As Justin would say- "life is good".

Drove into the town of Lahaina this morning for breakfast. Linda had Tuscon Sunrise, scrambled eggs with Italian sausage, green peppers, onions and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese shavings. It was served with a scoop of rice. I had classic French Toast. While waiting for our breakfast they brought a warm freshly baked cinnamon role to share. Needless to say everything was excellent including the service!

After breakfast we did a little shopping for some lunch food and snacks. Our plan was to spend some time at the beach today and wanted to be prepared for later in the day when hunger strikes.
Our first day at the beach was wonderful! The sun

was shining brightly, the warm breezes were blowing and the water was comfortably warm. The waves were splashing up on the beach and were enough to carry you in with them to the shore.

Next door to our condo is a shopping mall called Whaler Village. It is connected by a walkway along the beach. It is a popular spot due to it's many shops and some restaurants. We spent time walking through to check it out. The mall has daily events for people's enjoyment. Tonight was a hula demonstration. Other nights have bands or lei making demonstrations plus other musical activities.

The walkway I mentioned has other large hotels and resorts connected to it. Each of these establishments have outdoor restaurants and tiki bars. We visited one of Marybeth's favorite spots, the Hula Grill, a barefoot bar that has a sand floor. All of these places are right on the ocean front.
It was another great day in Hawaii !
