Robert wanted to get up bright and early this morning so we could get an early start on the day but I did not want to wake up! He finally rolled me out of bed around 7:15am and we still didn't end up leaving the house until close to 9am. By the time I got things done at work and we ran our errands, it was 10:44am before we left Bend. We actually made really good time driving down to San Francisco. MapQuest estimated that it was approximately an 8 1/2 hour drive and it took us about 9 hours but we stopped for Subway lunch in Klamath Falls and stretched our legs at several rest areas. Battling through California freeway traffic is always a rush but we made it to Nate's house with little incident; except Robert kept driving over the white line and making my teeth chatter. After we unloaded the car, we walked over to Tres Amigos for dinner with Nate. Now we're both online, updating things before we take off. The plan is to have Nate drive us to the San Francisco airport in the morning, we'll leave our car here, and have him pick us up when we get back in a couple weeks. I'm not sure when I'll have the chance to get online again but until then, cheers!!

Have a fun safe trip
Have a fun and safe trip. I know you'll take lots of pictures. I don't know if this is how this works or not. This is the first time I've signed onto something like this before. Cool idea :)

Lucky you
Guess you're somewhere in an airplane or airport right now. I'm pretty envious. Don't forget, Krystal, you need to make an album that will make Dave want to go to Ireland. No pressure - but it needs to be outstanding!

Scrapbook
Oh most definitely! I am already collecting all the proper goodies to delight everyone! Then it's a retreat just for assembling the book, or perhaps two!

Weather
The weather has been lovely thus far, a little sprinkling but no downpours like Oregon. Hopefully this will keep up throughout our vacation.
