An envisioned trip to Bora Bora for our 25th was nixed as we are not really beach people, dont like laying around on the beach and like to be active when we travel - plus we are too old for the beach (swim suit old). Well maybe a Mediterranean cruise instead, but Alex has never been on a cruise and is not too sure, plus we have been lucky enough to have visited 2/3 of the ports of call anyway. North Europe, Scandinavia and the Baltic? No that is in October - too cold!!

Well let's try New Zealand, Australia and French Polynesia? What? 30 days is pretty long? Go big or go home! Spoil yourselves to make it a trip of a lifetime, as 25 years is a lot to celebrate, especially if you are married to Alex and as angelic as Bonnie, and likely by 50th you won't be up to such an adventure!!

It's 2:15 pm. Scheduled departure from Port Moody is 2:30 for a 6:30 pm flight!! Carly was kind enough to drive us and there were flurries starting as we departed. There has been enough stress packing and prepping, so we will acquiesce and go along with being that early for a flight 😊

Never in my life have I been so early!! Flew Air New Zealand, was able to access Air Canada lounge and was able to see the Boeing 777-200 aircraft out the window.

Thanks for the lift Carly!! Take care of each other (Stewart and Carly) while we are gone. we know everything will be "fine"!
