Getting ready

3 days to go so I've started getting ready for the trip. Instead of packing I've been doing a little reading about Italia. It seems they use a different language than Australia and it sounds like they may also have a different currency.

That has thrown me a little. I've been thinking about the first and have figured out the hostess on the flight to Rome should know about Italian. We have quite a long flight so she will be able to tell me all I need to know there.

In terms of money, I am still going to take the tin of $2 coins I've been collecting. It weighs quite a bit but does make up a large amount of my spending money. Im hoping it will be fine for buying small things at the deli, like The West Australian each morning.

Will hopefully start on the packing tomorrow, although I have a few things to do, maybe some baking. There is always Friday for sorting out my bag.
