The flight into Dubai is amazing. Desert desert desert and the suddenly mansions that look like Lego from the air, all square, flat roofs and all exactly the same. The pool size seems to vary with each.
Its mid afternoon here and can see about 100m ahead, the rest is dust. Strange place to live although I haven't seen the city itself. Perhaps from the plane on the way out.
Just waiting for the next flight. Only 7 hours or do to Rome. More food but definitely drinking this leg. I have no idea what time it really is for me but I haven't had a vino yet. Gotta go ....
