Last day of Geckos

Skipped the crappy Turkish breakfast and met the rest of the group and Hussein. We walked to the Blue Mosque. Before we went in we had to take off our shoes. It was large inside. Inside there are lots of lights, stained glass windows and blue paint is the main colour that decorates the wall. This is the only mosque that has six minarets, most have four.

Us younger ones went out for a last lunch at a restaurant that had a great view of the sea, the Blue Mosque and the Toptapi Palace. Was a good lunch and the last time we were all together. It has been a great month, lots of memories, adventures, fun times, laughs, etc. And as they say, what happens on tour, stays on tour!! 😊 😊

We met Hussein in the lobby to take us to dinner for the last time as a group. He took us to a seafood restaurant, which would have been good if we hadn't planned on having a big night out. After that we went out to a bar that was obviously owned by one of Husseins friends. We had a go at smoking the pipe. It was apple flavored tobacco and smelled quite nice. Later on some drunk people managed to smash the pipe! Imagine that! Anyway was a good night, ended in the early morning with drama.
