We said goodbye to the kids today, and Sheila and I caught a plane from Forence to Paris while they were homeward bound.

It was overcast and foggy in Paris, and the Seine was WAY over it's banks. In fact, the Louvre is closed until Tuesday due to the flooding concern. But, none of this kept us from roaming the streets of Paris, and taking in the sights.

We have an awesome hotel room, thanks to the recommendation from my buddy, Wes. Our room has a typical Parisian balcony. To the left, we have a view of the Louvre. Straight ahead is the Tuileries Garden, the oldest park in Paris. And, to the right is the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffle Tower. Not bad!

Hopefully the weather will clear while we are in Paris and I can get some better pictures.

I can't help the weather but so glad the hotel you are staying put you all in that room with a view. Hopefully the clouds will go away so you can see the Eiffel Tower lit up at night. Stick to the list I recommended and you will see a lot
and eat your way through Paris the time you there.
