Inside Everest scenic flight plane, Kathmandu, NepalThe final day of the Sit Down & Shut Up Tour began SUPER early with a scenic flight to Mount Everest. Most of the group went & the views were just magnificent. We flew on a twenty seater Air Buddha aircraft & were given maps of the mountain range to follow as we passed by. The air hostess went through the cabin, pointing out the mountains & we each made a couple of trips to the cockpit to take photos & chat with the pilots. Afterwards, everybody was commenting on how jealous they were of mine & Sam's upcoming Everest Base Camp trek. Meanwhie, the two of us were quietly shitting ourselves with the realisation of just what we were getting into!
We went to pay for the flight at Hannahs travel agent & he's going to find Sam a seat in place of the cancelled Cosmic Air flight. Mel & Mo decided to spend a few extra days in Kathmandu, so we accompanied them to Sahara Air while they sorted it out. Did a spot of shopping & ended up at the Kathmandu Guest House for drinks & an afternoon snack. Ran into Will & Brad, a couple of

Everest scenic flight, Kathmandu, Nepal Aussie guys who'd been on our Chitwan bus & invited them along to the Dahori for dinner tonight.
Sam, Mel, Mo, Holly, Chris & I caught taxis up to Mukti for a visit in the afternoon. We drank tea & the kids put on a dancing display before Goma showed us her videos. Afterwards we caught a local van to the Dahori, where we drank, ate & danced the night away. It was a good turn out, even Brad & Will came along - good fun.
