Well i made it here! and yes i would like a chocolate watch because i was not hungover during take off or landing! Delhi is every bit over whelming as it was the first time i visited. We are all in complete agreement that there are no words that can describe such a place. Even taking a picture does little to satisfy the true spirit of the city. Delhi is over-crowded, hot, dirty, colourful, and deprived. There are so millions of people out to scam you in every way. Its the kinda place im greatful to have experienced, but im not going back in a hurry! Im slightly ashamed to admit but we got scammed in a HUGE way. We were sold an air ticket to Kashmirre and spend 3 days on a boat trip to later find out that its a big terriorist attack hot spot. Needless to say we didnt go. (But has caused alot of laughing about the ridiculousness of it all, and yes lessons have been learned)

The next day we visited the Taj Mahal (my second time)which was as and even more awe-inspiring as the first. The intricate detail and structure of the tomb all in the name of love sends a marvellous shiver down my spine. True love does indeed exist!

We have also seen some other sites around Delhi but left on the third day to travel to Shimla. Its in the North, therefore in the Himalayas. It was once the Brittish Summer capital of India, and is now a clean and beautiful hillstation. We were told that the train took 4 hours, however, when we swapped trains into a 'toy' train we were stuck, squashed like sardines in a tin, on this chugga-chugga thing that went 10 miles per hour for 6 hours! We arrived in Shimla tiered, hungry, dirty and with a soar arse (sitting on wood for 12 hours is painful!)

Its great here, we are off to see the Monkey temple today and tomorrow go to the hot springs. The day after that we plan to got to Manalia, a ten hour bus trip and then to my home Mcloud Ganj. In general we are thinking that we will spend one month in the North, and the remainder in the South.

Most importantly i have to say that i have never laughed so much as in these last few days! We really all are having the time of our lives, our spirits are soaring high, despite the twists of our travels that only India could present! Mum and Dad, sorry bout the spelling! These keyboards are rubbish!
Love you all very much xxxxx

I found it!
I'm fairly impressed with myself for finding this site, it's going to be good tuning in and finding out what you have been up to.. I wasn't surprised to hear that you had dot on your head... Sounds good so far, the train journeys would drive me mad, all crammed in together and crawling along..but the destination is worth it, it sounds beautiful the way you describe things. I am just away now to watch you on TV!! that's going to be strange.. love you Emma. x
