I climbed 287 steps to get up to this tower. Having gotten back yesterday from a tour around some of Eastern Europe, it is hard to summarize everything we did, and I don't want to cause anyone to feel obligated to read an entry that is the length of a novel. Therefore, this entry will be just about Prague, and later I will write some stuff about Krakow and then Budapest.
Friday night, we got to Prague in time for dinner, so we had a really good meal. The Czechs eat really well, so it was a big change from being in Vienna and scrounging up change for a piece of pizza at the kebab/pizza stand (why those two foods are always sold together, I don't know.)

http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Poland/Krakow/blog-92498.html For some reason, Alia's page on the Czech Republic doesn't link to the page on Poland as it's supposed to. Use the address above to go to the page on Poland. Thanks for all the pix, Alia! Charles had been asking if there were any new ones. I hope we'll see some more pictures of yourself soon! I know you'll be busy this week. But . . . next week, when you tell us about Hungary, maybe! Hoping all is well . . . . :) P.S. Mittens misses you and Lauren, and when John is away, she really misses all of you.
