Well as most of you have heard probably by now thailand went through a military coup but it was peaceful and should be okay but at the first sign of anything go up shit creek without a paddle i will catch the first plane out of there (that is what travel insurance is for) but for now everything looks alright and should be okay for tourists (i saw a news report of tourists taking photos of tanks and the military in bangkok, not that i would do that im smarter than that) so i appreciate the concern but i am still going on with my trip (im basically going to bangkok for the day in 2 days (the 23rd) and catching the night bus to ko toa (the islands). So im going to be hiding out on a beautiful island drinking beers and going diving so i should be worrying about all you people stuck at work and school, dont stress out holidays will soon be at hand for you to.

Coup? Thailand?
Holy cow! There was a coup in Thailand. . It must be some kind of statement on our workload as engineering students that I had to hear about this in your blog and not on the news :). I'm having fun reading about and seeing pictures of your travels over there. Stay safe and enjoy the diving and brews on the beach. Cheers!
