We rappelled down waterfalls today...and it was amazing! We got absolutely drenched and trudged through waterfalls and over rocks with soaking wet shoes but it was such an awesome experience! Unfortunately the pictures are being sent to us in the next couple of days so we haven't got anything to show you from today's antics. It was a tad impossible to take a camera as we were jumping in the water and walking in rivers up to our hips. We walked abseiled down some waterfalls, jumped down others then free fell down the rest. We only realised how high they were when we looked up from the bottom. The scenery was stunning too.

We also saw a sloth! Finally! We've been on a night walk and a rain forest walk and we end up seeing it on a canyoning trip. It was a baby one and they really do move as slow as we think!

We did a bit of shopping in town and had dinner with half the family but having an early night tonight as we are rafting to San Jose at 8:30am tomorrow and the excitement from the rappelling has taken it out of us!

We hope you all had a great weekend!

Getting drenched is what your used to coming from Wales ! It's typically tropical here at the moment mmmmm. And you missed the mighty Wales rugby ! Not. They were poor and got whipped by the Irish..... Again ! Anyway, in case you don't know your Liverpool were equally as impressive however they did manage to win 1-0 well that was the score when I woke up. Friday's looking cool just gotta confirm my whereabouts today and then what's app you. Stay safe and dry if poss xxxx

It's been more than expected!
Hi Cath, Central America has exceeded expectations and has surprised us. I highly doubt our experience would have been as brilliant without the group and tour leader we had. We're in Manuel Antonio now for a day in the National Park then flying home Thursday! Back to reality will be a big shock this time round! See you very soon hopefully! Love to Lissy and Mam and Dad xxxxxxxxxxx
