We love Costa Rica

We travelled down from the cloud this morning and across the largest lake in Costa Rica, Lake Arenal, to La Fortuna. This place is a lot more developed than any place we've been and is offering us an action packed couple of days. As you read this, we are probably rappelling down waterfalls and tomorrow we shall be white water rafting to San Jose instead of getting a public bus. Not a bad way to end this amazing trip! We only live once 😊

Scott was feeling fragile from too many chili shots at 3am and Annie had two hours sleep having being sick from the Malaria tablets so we both suffered along the bumpy pot hole riddled roads today. After a nap in our new hotel we are both feeling fresh and have enjoyed food and cocktails in a Reggae bar with some of the group. As we are writing this in the hotel reception we are experiencing our first proper Tropical storm. The rain is actually worse than British rain - you get absolutely drenched within 3 seconds but at least it's warm!

We're looking forward to the excitement of rappelling tomorrow and shall try to take pictures!

Buenos noches!
